The Superflux Men's Synthetic Jacket is the first jacket with POLARLOFT® Featherless synthetic filling from Mountain Equipment. At first glance (and feel), the jacket looks like a real down jacket. It is lightweight and packs down very small, right into its own pocket. It is more resistant to moisture and rain compared to real down, as it keeps you warm even when wet. In terms of warmth, it is said to be comparable to a 700 fill power down jacket. The exterior is made of Drilite Loft 40D ripstop material with a DWR coating, which is lightweight, breathable, windproof and highly water-repellent.
The jacket has an adjustable hood with a peak, large enough to fit a helmet under it. It also has two large external pockets and one internal pocket, a double YKK zipper and an elasticated hem.
