The Manta Tech GTX Winter Hiking Boots are a revamped version of the iconic Manta winter boots. Waterproof, warm and extremely durable, they are a real workhorse that will keep you safe and comfortable on your winter adventures.
They are made of suede leather and reinforced with rubber around the entire shoe, which further extends the lifespan of the shoes, as they are protected from stones (walking on scree, etc.). The Gore-Tex membrane provides waterproofing, and the Vibram sole provides good grip. There is a larger loop on the heel, which makes it easier to put on the shoes even with gloves. The shoes are compatible with semi-automatic crampons.
They are suitable for classic snow ridges, glaciers and all-round mountaineering.
After each use, shoes need to be dried. This can be done by cleaning them and placing them somewhere at room temperature (do not place the shoes directly on a heat source).
We should not overdo it when lubricating shoes. Shoes should be lubricated as needed. At Gornik we use cleaners, waxes and impregnation from the manufacturer. Storm .
If you need impregnation for leather shoes (smooth leather, work shoes...), we recommend using wax .
For all other materials that shoes are made of, the best is Impregnation spray . This treatment ensures a longer lifespan for the shoe and additional protection against weather conditions.
But if your shoes are just dirty and the dirt won't come off, we have a special solution for you. shoe cleaner , which also comes in a spray.
All ointments and sprays should be applied to dry shoes! When applying sprays to shoes, it is also necessary to pay attention to the distance at which you hold the spray (see instructions).
Once the shoes are dry, they are ready to be used again.
