Nordkante in Koschutnikturm

Right in the middle of the week (it was a day off from work), Matjaž and I set off across the border, this time to the Austrian side. The start was not very early, we calculated that we would start climbing somewhere between eight and half past eight. We had a pretty good pace during the approach, as Matjaž dictated it, of course. We got under the wall as planned, and even then there was already one belay in front of us in the wall. We stopped just before entering the direction, where we equipped ourselves for climbing. To make the climbing easier, we left the larger backpack below, and we took mine, which is smaller, with drinks and sandwiches. We were looking at the wall, and Matjaž said, "Hey, if that's not Sebastjan." I thought it was strange that he would recognize him like that, I said, oh no, how do you know that? Then a voice said "I GUARD" and we both had confirmation, and it was true. Since they were just starting to climb well, we climbed the bar nicely one after the other, and we didn't have to wait very long.

We were quickly at the stand where the Nordkante direction runs to the left, and the Nord-Ost direction to the right or straight ahead. Pfeiler. Here we separated, the group in front of us climbed to the right, and we continued climbing on the left side. The direction is beautiful and it is clear that we have already done a few tours together, as the climbing and handling on the stands is very fast. Matjaž therefore decides that each "pull" as much as possible, so that we can climb for a longer time and consequently we are also faster at the top. I don't know what else to say than one two three and we are at the top, drinks and sandwiches from the backpack again. We change our shoes, drink, eat and descend. We descended along the via ferrata and were already at the bottom on the scree. Because we left one backpack under the wall, Matjaž had to go back a little towards the wall along the path, while I slowly walked towards the car. This is how another successful tour ended.
