How to choose activeware?
Today, we are faced with a flood of manufacturers producing base layer activewear, making it very difficult to find the clothing that suits us and, above all, is also of good quality.

Quality activeware
- Base layer clothing should wick moisture away from the body quickly and effectively.
- Base layer clothing should dry in the shortest possible time.
- Good base layer clothing also requires effective antibacterial treatment.
- For good base layer clothing, it is also important that it does not stretch out.
Types of activeware clothing
Synthestic activeware

We have synthetic base layer clothing available, which has the advantage of excellent moisture-wicking, quick drying, and good antibacterial treatment. For those of you who sweat more heavily, we recommend wearing a thinner summer model of base layer as the first layer, even in winter, as it is more breathable and wicks moisture much more effectively.
The downside of synthetic base layer clothing is that, after prolonged use, it can develop an unpleasant odor caused by the buildup of fats, salts, and sweat that we release while cooling our bodies.

Merino wool is another option for base layer clothing that we can choose. Wool is a natural material that provides warmth even when wet, and when combined with synthetic materials, we’ve truly hit the mark.
The main advantages we highlight are:
- The material provides excellent warmth.
- The clothing retains warmth even when wet.
- Thanks to the combination with synthetic material, it dries faster.
- Wool naturally has long-lasting antibacterial properties.
- Woolen clothing combined with synthetic material does not stretch out.

Silk base layer
Silk is an excellent material that feels incredibly soft on the skin and provides a pleasant cooling effect. It is particularly recommended for warmer months, as it takes great care of our skin and is almost unnoticeable when worn.
Weight of base layer clothing
Base layer clothing is divided into ultralight, midweight, and thicker, heavier winter layers.
Ultralight base layers are primarily used in summer, as these shirts weigh around 100g and, in addition to excellent moisture-wicking properties, also offer strong sun protection.
Midweight base layers can be used year-round. In summer, they are most noticeable as the first layer we put on until we warm up. Once we reach our "working temperature," we usually remove this layer and switch to something lighter.
Thicker winter base layers are used on cold days, as their primary purpose is to provide comfortable warmth and ensure we don’t feel cold.
