Edelrid Salathe Helmet
The Edelrid Salathe Helmet is an ultralight climbing helmet made of an EPP foam core and partially made of an ABS hard shell, which allows for optimal safety and minimal weight.
The outer shell made of expanded polypropylene provides a high level of impact resistance. The top of the robust hard shell is made of ABS for even better protection against falling objects. The ergonomic shape ensures that the Salathe fits securely without being too noticeable and provides optimal protection against side, front and rear impacts. Large air vents ensure optimal ventilation on hot climbing days. Internal pads prevent pressure points and absorb sweat. The pads can be removed and washed.
A minimalist strap adjustment system ensures a secure fit of the helmet on the head and reduces weight and volume to a minimum. All types of headlamps can be quickly and securely attached to the helmet with two clips at the front and an elastic strap at the back.
The Salathe helmet, with its minimal weight and ergonomic shape, is the ideal helmet for hiking, mountaineering and climbing.
