The third, updated edition describes 60 selected destinations in the Soča basin from Tolmin upwards, ranging in difficulty from easier valley excursions along the river and to waterfalls to very demanding tours and off-road routes.
Most of the tours described are of medium difficulty, but there are also some demanding off-road routes and three multi-day, large-scale crossings that, due to the severity of the mountain environment, require experienced and well-prepared mountaineers.
