The LACD Mondo ice axe is a classic ice axe that is an essential piece of equipment when you are in snowy terrain. Together with crampons, it allows you to move forward safely and, in the event of a slip, provides a quick and effective stop.
We have different lengths of ice axes available, which we buy based on our own height. The ice axe has a quality tip, is lightweight, and has an added wrist strap.
The length of the wrist strap is adjustable, so you can shorten or lengthen it as you like. The tip at the bottom is sharp enough to make the ice axe easier to advance even in steep terrain.
