A short visit to our northern neighbors - a jump to Finkenstein
Finkenstein, near our northern neighbors, offers us a pleasant and exemplary climbing area. The specialty of this area is also its very exemplary arranged route, which is equipped with a steel cable and offers us excellent exploration of the area.
How to get there: Leave the motorway at the exit for Kranjska Gora and drive towards Rateče. In Podkoren, turn off the main road for Korensko sedlo and climb gently towards the border crossing. Be careful, there is a personal document control at the border. There is a steep descent to the other side, where we head towards Finkenstein. In Finkenstein, look for a road called AltFinkeinsteiner Strasse and follow it to the starting point. You can also enter the location like this .
