The Black Diamond First Shot is an innovative way to build ice climbing belays. We admit that we have paid too little attention to this belay, which we regret.
The Black Diamond First Shot makes it easy, fast and safe to make a belay. Simply select the length of the ice screw, screw it in, insert the auxiliary line and tie a suitable knot. The rest of the auxiliary line can be cut with the included knife - a mini saw integrated into the device itself.
Another special feature of the device is that it works with various ice screw manufacturers.
